Caught out by a Dawn Storm My Beachcomber girl looks out to sea in chagrin at an incoming storm at dawn, redarkening the sky as it drives a seabird inshore and gives the lighthouse renewed purpose . Not a day to be away beachcombing, seeking out sea glass for making jewellery, or whatever gifts of the sea left among the beach pebbles or in the rock pools an outgoing tide would leave, but one to stay at home in the lighthouse instead. 12 x 10 inch Acrylic on canvas
